To apply to form a Third Rail Chapter, please send an email to with the following information:

  • Name of Chapter Representative (This does not have to be an elected figure, just the person handling the application)
  • The email address of the Chapter Representative

From there, the Director of Membership will send that Chapter Representative a Google Document where he/she can add the chapter members the week of July 20th.  Remember, at this point you must have at least (25) members to form a Chapter.  The Google Document will only be viewable by the Director of Membership and the respective Chapter Representative.  If the Chapter wishes to change the Representative, they must work with the Director of Membership.  All applications are due by July 19th.  Once the chapters have reached at least (25) 2015 Third Rail members, they will receive an email from the Director of Membership with confirmation of the successful creation of a chapter.  Shortly after, the Director of Membership will then email the entire Membership base letting them know the Chapters that are available to join and how to get in contact with the Chapter Representative.
